About Us
Established in 1987, McMillan has always been about distribution to destinations all over Australia, supplying the greeting card, gift and homewares markets. The Company operates from its owned warehouse and office complex situated in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney.
The cornerstone of McMillan is our greeting cards. Sourced mainly in the UK, they include those British publishers who are most highly regarded and have received awards as such. The ranges are exclusive to McMillan, diverse, cover all occasions and include art cards and intellectual humour. Squirrel, based in Queensland, is our first 100% Australian made range.
McMillan also distributes an amazing collection of paper serviettes. The napkins are sourced from the 3 acknowledged best European manufacturers: the respected design leaders at Germany’s IHR (Ideal Home Range) who feature the international design Company Marimekko; Caspari Inc., based in the USA, are a rich and bold design house who offer a beautifully co-ordinated napkin and tabletop collection; the ever-modern and creative PPD (PaperProducts Designs). All napkins are FSC accredited, 3-ply quality and printed with up to 12 colours. The variation in design and colour that we offer works with any tabletop story.
Add our gift lines and you will see a diverse and interesting offering. Gift suppliers include Räder (Germany) withso many items all bespoke gift boxed, including porcelain vases, the original Lighthouses and art pieces; from Sirius LED light products (Denmark); Bolsius candles (Poland); from iconic licensed Brands such as William Morris luxury and design-lead gift packaging by Penny Kennedy (UK).
McMillan’s account base is pure gold, a wonderful collection of unique and talented retailers gathered over our 30+ years of trading. It includes national chains, independent card retailers, speciality gift and homewares stores, book shops, garden centres and children’s shops. We release new product constantly so there is always something new to tempt.
Our customers are able to access McMillan at trade shows, private showings, our sales representatives, HO customer service and via this newly updated website which offers ease of access across such a broad and large range of product lines. Our sales team unbelievably cover most of this vast country. Based in their home States they use an electronic on-road ordering system and carry relevant samples.
